The last Spooptober gift! Both dresses are for Maxis AF and all the bodyshapes I currently use (CPU, Vol Gal, Ren Gal, Dummy Thicc, Momma Lisa, & Trans Momma Lisa).

To celebrate the 20th devil nut anniversary of TS2, I present something I started over 9 months ago, have been working on periodically since then and FINALLY finished!



Back on New Year's Eve 2023, I was suddenly inspired to make formal gowns for my Deception IV sims for a New Year's party. So I went into a frenzy of converting some for their bodyshapes that took 2 days and gave me a massive eye strain headache. But it was worth it, even though I didn't have my gameplay hood set up yet I got some memorable pictures and expanded the project. Some are based on VERY old meshes and textures, which although in the spirit of commemorating 20 years of TS2, probably aren't to everyone's taste😅 But they're my taste, and a lot of love, as well as blood,sweat, and tears, went into them.

Without further ado, here's my first CC upload as Dark Side Princess, to celebrate 20 years of TS2 and coincidentially also 10 years since the release of Deception IV: Blood Ties!  (Not the same day. That'd be too much of a coincidence.)

 

This is a project I started in, what, October? that got put on the backburner for a bit while I was working on Halloween and Mipmas. Then Jane and I started collaborating on it, since we have similar taste and she uses some of the same bodyshapes I do (if you like my CC and haven't checked out hers, please do!) And it just kept snowballing into more and more stuff, and we figured we should pause for a bit and start sharing.








I'm now using 6 bodyshapes in my game: Classic Pinup, Voluptuous Gal, Dummy Thicc, Renaissance Gal, Momma Lisa, and Trans Momma Lisa. LetoMills has shared a ton of awesome undies & swimwear for DT, ML, & TrML, but I had nothing for the other shapes yet that suit my style, and the available meshes (old and newer) for them have... 3D anatomy bits. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the realism... on NAKED sims. And I'm sure there are others that agree, plus people who'd like to use bodyshapes but prefer blockfeet. So I took it upon myself to create a set of new meshes, and expand on Leto's. I bring you:

Then, we decided to take Martini's full body mesh with their edit of Bloom's pushup and convert it to the shapes we use. Because as we all know, I do love me some corsets. So there's a couple of lingerie sets for those. Then, we decided to make tops out of them! And with tops, you need bottoms, and there are very few bodyshape separates out there - some shapes have none at all. It was a damn struggle to set a "standard" for the very first separates for those shapes, so thus far, there's just the pushup tops, and a skirt to go with them. But now that the standard is set, making more will be so much easier, and I already have some WIPs 😉

As I do now as usual with multi-shape clothing, all files are BSOK'd (with non-BSOK'd option for Maxis shapes), and repo'd/texture-referenced to a required bundle labeled TEXTURES so you can keep whichever recolors you want for each shape. Just the shapes I did are pictured in the previews, but original AF versions and any that Leto did already are included and repo'd when applicable.

Please note that in my previews, my Trans Momma Lisa sims have skins made for their bodyshape and thus have the appropriate (AF) breast texture. I make bodyshape versions of skins on a per-sim basis for my game, but Leto has some here that I highly recommend.

Jane also uses DT, Ren Gal, and ML, so some of my sets don't include these shapes, but when she posts them I will be editing the post to link to hers. Lots and lots of pics and downloads await under the cut!

I keep promising I'm not going to add any more bodyshapes to my game... and I keep breaking that promise. You can entirely blame Veruza for convincing me to use Vol Gal, however. I was originally just going to use it on her, but I decided I really like it. I've also wanted to use Ren Gal for ages, since it's the most accurate for my self-sim (who's one of the models) but there's no clothing for it that suits my game, so I'm changing that. 😁

UPDATE 5/15/24: Fixed waist seams on CPU skirt morphs that I somehow didn't notice until testing a new CPU top today. All files have been updated, but if you just need the fixed meshes here they are.

UPDATE 11/14/23: Fixed neck seam on fitted tee mesh. Files have been updated, sorry about that! Also added smooth hands version, if you just need that mesh you can get it here.

"Self-Control" is a deceiving name, because I had absolutely none when making recolors of these skirts. They were supposed to be for the last GoS theme, but then the Pride project happened, and as usual I had unfinished projects all over the place. But anyway. Too many miniskirts, and a CPU conversion of Aikea Guinea's fitted top with their and Gelydh's textures to go with them.
 

For the "Velvet Underground" theme: my favorite Club Crimsyn dresses for CPU, plus new recolors for both AF & CPU. Digi did the conversions for me before I started learning meshing. "Digital Devils" is what I call the team of Digi and MrsM'Quve 😁
