Ephemera is an automaton created by the Devil who serves as Velguirie’s guide through Darkside Heaven, the rift between dreams and reality. She, like others of her kind, is aging and in disrepair.

Velguirie’s goal, like her sister Laegrinna’s, is to offer human souls to her father in order to revive him. Ephemera works diligently to help her achieve this goal and rule over the world.
