DARK SIDE PRINCESS

This is a project I started in, what, October? that got put on the backburner for a bit while I was working on Halloween and Mipmas. Then Jane and I started collaborating on it, since we have similar taste and she uses some of the same bodyshapes I do (if you like my CC and haven't checked out hers, please do!) And it just kept snowballing into more and more stuff, and we figured we should pause for a bit and start sharing.








I'm now using 6 bodyshapes in my game: Classic Pinup, Voluptuous Gal, Dummy Thicc, Renaissance Gal, Momma Lisa, and Trans Momma Lisa. LetoMills has shared a ton of awesome undies & swimwear for DT, ML, & TrML, but I had nothing for the other shapes yet that suit my style, and the available meshes (old and newer) for them have... 3D anatomy bits. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the realism... on NAKED sims. And I'm sure there are others that agree, plus people who'd like to use bodyshapes but prefer blockfeet. So I took it upon myself to create a set of new meshes, and expand on Leto's. I bring you:

Then, we decided to take Martini's full body mesh with their edit of Bloom's pushup and convert it to the shapes we use. Because as we all know, I do love me some corsets. So there's a couple of lingerie sets for those. Then, we decided to make tops out of them! And with tops, you need bottoms, and there are very few bodyshape separates out there - some shapes have none at all. It was a damn struggle to set a "standard" for the very first separates for those shapes, so thus far, there's just the pushup tops, and a skirt to go with them. But now that the standard is set, making more will be so much easier, and I already have some WIPs 😉

As I do now as usual with multi-shape clothing, all files are BSOK'd (with non-BSOK'd option for Maxis shapes), and repo'd/texture-referenced to a required bundle labeled TEXTURES so you can keep whichever recolors you want for each shape. Just the shapes I did are pictured in the previews, but original AF versions and any that Leto did already are included and repo'd when applicable.

Please note that in my previews, my Trans Momma Lisa sims have skins made for their bodyshape and thus have the appropriate (AF) breast texture. I make bodyshape versions of skins on a per-sim basis for my game, but Leto has some here that I highly recommend.

Jane also uses DT, Ren Gal, and ML, so some of my sets don't include these shapes, but when she posts them I will be editing the post to link to hers. Lots and lots of pics and downloads await under the cut!

Last year I wanted to do more for Pride Month, but my plans were thwarted by getting ridiculously sick with Covid when I went home to visit family. So I'm making up for it this year, and as with the event projects I've done in the past year or two, I got super inspired and went a bit overboard. I was like "yeah watch me not have this ready until the very last day of June" and yep, I know myself too well. But there's no wrong time to celebrate Pride, and in the US where I am and elsewhere in the world this is a dangerous time for the LGBTQ+ community and many simmers can't safely do so in real life. There's a LOT of pictures, so everything's under the cut.

I decided to make my 2023 Founder's Day gift sci-fi themed, because I have more alien and robot sims now and eventually plan on making a sci-fi downtown whenever I get to building a new gameplay hood. In hindsight, for such an event I should have made something that's useful to more than exactly nobody, but whatever. Most of these meshes are 3t2 conversions from Into the Future.
